Sopa and Pipa have been benched for the moment, let us hope people in the government come to their senses. Sopa and Pipa will not stop piracy, because they're not blocking the IP for the servers, just the website domain. Concluding, if you have the website's IP address you can still get data from them.

That really sucks. Megaupload did express their leniency to piracy however so they were bound to get shutdown. Hopefully, MediaFire and Rapidshare don't close down as well.

I'm getting pissed at the way piracy is being handled. They need to find a better way than to arrest everyone associated with it.

Rapidshare fails, I hope it gets shut down. Mediafire is the most legit (legally) anyhow so I doubt that anythings going to happen to them. Read Mediafire's TOS, and you'll see what I mean.
