I'm thinking about getting a team to build an adaptive ban system. Meaning, if your banned and your ip is in the system, all future accounts created by that ip are automatically banned.
-Auto Ban based on IP
-Auto ban based on ip and hostname
-How often the system should check for evaders (5 Minutes,1 hours, daily, weekly)
-Place user in group X if duplicate IP address occurs
-Users who are in X Usergroup, their IP's are immune to system scans.
-User ID's who are immune to system scan
I need help getting more features for this. Can you guys think of more good ones?

Surprisingly theres nothing. SMF has one. We can see if someone is banevading, but its done manually.
Sounds useless, all of that info can be changed with a few keystrokes.
Actually most people wouldn't know or bother avoiding a ban like that so nevermind.
While it's being reviewed upon, I request a ban of dynamic IPs, VPNs and all sorts. If users wants to use them outside the site so be it but on a trading site such as this one it increases rate of scams and makes it impossible for moderators such as myself to locate ban evaders. I could almost bank on the fact that half the BuyPoe community right now are ban evaders.

I do hope you are saying only for registering with a VPN, most users play PP while on BP (if they even play PP), and most seem to evade, if they cant come here with a VPN on to protect their PP account from being banned, BP will be even more inactive.
bans should be case by case basis. not automatically or we will end up like OOO with their gayass banning methods
