Thread: Proposed changes to Buypoe.com - 25/04/2011

I like these suggestions very much, im assuming the $ rewards only apply to things made after this is implemented?

These changes are hopefully the first step to make BuyPoe better.

Understandably people are starting to become hesitant spending there time on a potentially dying site. We ask bare with us, if you disagree with a change or have suggestions for the site we have appropriate forums just for this. Find them, post your issues, an we will work to address them.

There is no reason BuyPoe.com cannot succeed on the web. Everyone needs to work together.



@ ThaZestyBurrito- I am going to request that this be implemented at the start of May, so that those involved in the Staff Review for this month can finish it out fairly. Since those who wait till the last minute would profit and those who posted throughout the month would be short changed.

Sounds good! But can we not make something else more than word count for reviews??? People make their own reviews, or previews... of about 200 words. They can be really crap... Can there not be some sort of rule it needs to be interesting?

Also, Game reviews written to get money... Do they have to be new, or from any time?

Tim is in charge of it, but I will say speak on his behalf until he corrects it.

I am rather sure that we talked about this yesterday and the conclusion was that it would be reviewed by Tim (or someone else by Tim's request). In order to cashout you would have to post a thread in the cash out section linking all your work. Then it would be slightly reviewed for content, usefulness, etc etc.

I would up the wordage. 200 words is nothing.

$3 and $6 for producers, i feel the current prices are to high. feel free to comment this is my honest opinion.

I understand making a video involves more effort than creating a review but I see an unfair advantage if a youtube producer gets $8 more than a Columnist. So I think double is a fair price.
