Thread: Moderators, and other shiz

I think there very easy to use. But I guess thats probably cause I've been using the site for 3+ Years xD.

Can someone describe how to make it less cluttered, and I'll definately fine tune it. Thanks -David

Okay Davee, I've had a look and constructed a very basic outline of how I would do it.
I mean this is very basic, and the order could be revised, but there are some simple things wrong with it at the moment:
- The "Buy" section shouldn't be there at all in my opinion. It was easier before when you could go straight to the game you wanted, then to the marketplace of that game. I think the Buy section is highly unneccesary.
- Things like "Technology" not being under the "Tech" heading? I find that a little hard to understand, and I may be mistaken and there could be a valid reason for it, but to me that doesn't make any sense.
- I know you want to promote VIP and all, but it shouldn't have it's own section, I think it should be under BP links or community.

For example:

Community
-General discussion
- Intros
-Funny stuff
-Help
Games
-PP
-MW3
-RS
Tech
-Technology
-Programming
Media
-Movie reviews
-YT
Buypoe links
-Rules
-News (Could go under Media)
-VIP

Also, why do people have to be part of the "BP TEAM" to be a mod?
What if people can't write collumns, or create graphics, but are a respected pony in equestria (here).
In my opinion, it should only benefit your chances, not make it a requirement.

I agree with this. Although I wouldn't like to be a mod, I think it should be open to anyone because you don't need to write columns etc to moderate forums. Being an existing part of the team should just enhance the team's trust in you or something.

I also said about the GM thing as a joke, clearly I was just taking the michael out of Toxic. And I do still believe that there aren't enough mods. There have been lots of retirements recently and I think they either need to be replaced or brought back. A lot of the time I'm online there are no mods online, and especially not on chat which is a crucial part of being a mod in my opinion.

The general idea of this rule is that it shows the user is trustworthy, up-to-scratch and reliable to constantly do their job. However, under certain circumstances I'm sure this rule may already be surpassed.

Will it be surpassed by wit or strength mr toxic?
As mans greatest treasure must cost a lot, and since we are in a economic crisis, not many people have that much.

I'm glad to see no suggestions will be considered... and this thread will be forgotten and impossible to find.

Now for me to activate my hidden powers, and bump this thread when i feel the need.

I reckon we don't need more moderators but I think that all the content is very cluttered and hard to find. There are also LOTS of threads that are really old and dead, so they hould be cleaned up or deleted.
