If I was a mod Id just be a permanent Middleman I could do that all day, that would reduce scamming making Buypoe known to be a safe site.

However there would be limitations as you have some people that would ask for like a middleman while buying a bot, And the work load would be huge during releases but for a safe site Id be a moderator for that.

You're right, but you miss a HUGE point.

I think we need a GM, or Admin. It's not the fact the there is a work load. It's the fact that we need progression. Look at the forum page. It looks like a real forum puked onto this website. It's terribly unorganized.

We need someone who will make this website presentable. Someone who will find ways for unique content. Someone who knows what they're doing. Someone who understands the average user. Someone who knows what priorities BP should have.

We need a leader, not another worker.

So do it.
I've suggested some changes in my thread about mods. Obviously it won't be listened to.. :'(

I have said this multiple times and people either disregard it as pointless or just untrue but I will repeat it because I think its important. Nobody comes to this site and knows everything there is to know about trading, they havent dealt with enough people to understand when someone is acting fishy and they do not know all of the methods to avoid being scammed like experienced members do. This kind of know how only comes from experience, usually someone has to have 4-5 trades before they fully understand how important safety is and what steps they can take to prevent problems. Chances are at least one of those trades will involve a scam. Talk to anyone who has made more then 5 trades here and I can assure you the vast majority (if not all of them) will have been scammed at least once, the amounts tend to be miniscule but its still money. You may not think MMs are very necessary, but they are if you want to be retaining members who could be potentially funding the site.

I've never been scammed. I've sold and bought poe, I've sold accounts, done people's stats etc etc
I've taken leaps of faith and gone first with new people.
I think that it's luck. xD Tell me it isn't!

I agree on everything but 1. In total agreement we need a forum relook? make a competition or something davee cause our forums look like s*** id suggest looking at mpgh or gsys

I like the themeee. Loads fast, clean and comes in black and white. I will look into making it more appealing and check those sites out when i get home

Forum redo is a good idea. Lots of the sub forums are also cluttered up with stuff from years ago, and just make it look tacky. I also don't think the logo looks that good.
