The thread was no longer being posted on. Forgetting to lock it was completely fine because locking it disallows people to post on it. If people aren't posting on it anyway, there is no need to lock it.

You shouldn't bash on Sobo. If anything you should be thanking him for helping clean up the forums. It wasn't even Sobo's thread. This rant should be on Snipes if anyone at all.

And I'm sorry if the mods don't listen to you every time you request a thread be locked. Because no mods really care what you request. Neither does anyone else. It's the staff's decision, and the staff's decision alone.

I see no reason to start it back up again..

When I think it is needed I will gladly run it.

It was my fault for it becoming inactive, obviously since I was running it when I went inactive it did. I appreciate Sobo trying to start it back up but by that time everything that was expected of the staff was being accomplished. Monitoring it would of been a waste of time for anyone.
