Dont hyper rank that much

So I havent played YPP very seriously in the last year, and even when I did I avoided hyper ranking it just seems like its only use is for ego boosting and noob bashing. But anyways I was wondering if this is good/bad?

I dont remember saying that but I never really do well when working on other peoples stats, too many things going on inside my house and im usually pretty wasted when I get around to them. If you want me to try I can give it a shot, though im guessing that was ages ago because I dont remember it.

Hyper-ranking seems to be more of a glitch to get around the traditional ranking system OOO put in place. But if OOO doesn't care, why not do it?

It doesnt afford you much respect and is short lived because if you normally cant hold ult or get #1 you will undoubtedly lose it before you can get anywhere on the ult list. Only thing it does is make noobs rage when a few good puzzlers clog ult lists with alts.

To me it's just a quick way to get Ult. I don't care much about holding onto it. I'm fine at Legendary.

Well the thing with hyper ranking is that it only brings you up 2-3 ranks. So only people that are actually good can use it to get on the ult list. And I'm not a hyper ranker myself but I'm sure if you constantly did it for a while you could get #1, given that you can hold Renowned or Grandmaster on a normal level

I do it on the puzzles that I can keep it on. And if I can't keep it at ult then I don't bother hyper ranking it. Although I can hyper rank puzzles I'm only say GM at to a high ult. But again, if I can't keep it, there's no point to hyper rank it.
