Why do staff not middle man much? I talked to a good friend and he told me I should make a thread like this complaining because with this I do not have a safe enviorment with trades, and can be easily scammed.

MiddleMen take on a risk that is rather unfair to them. Moderator + are asked to be Official Middle Man because we trust them. If they don't want to take on that risk it is understandable. The solution we are going to use will most likely offer the ability for any person to be an OMM. This will most likely lead to them paying for services.


Maybe if we verify certain personal details with a potential MM then we can allow them to be a OMM. Since the likely hood that they will scam goes down if we have ways to reach them.


All just ideas that we will think about. Sorry you have such a tough time finding a OMM, they do exist however. If your trade is small I will consider MMing it during this outage of MM's. Being a high school kid with no job though getting reclaimed on 100's of dollars isn't in the budget right now.
