WARNING:No point to this thread !

Yesterday, I took part in the London Youth Games for Junior Kayak Slalom (Going inbetween poles) and Senior Kayak Sprint (Self explanatory)

I have done the Youth Games for Three years now for Slalom and this is my first year for Sprint, I think, since I was against 18 year olds who are like 3m tall, I did pretty well coming third out of eight in my heat ! As for the slalom, I did a 12 gate course in 102 seconds and seeing as an Olympic standered Kayaker got 88 seconds, again, I think I did pretty well! However on the second turn, the wind had a strength of OVAR 9000 and the waves were atleast a metre high! So I got extremely wet and cold :3

Unfortunatly I did not get a medal this year as I pulled out of the Sprint (I was extremely tired and sunburnt) and the rest of my team (borough) got knocked out in the semi's (Yes we sucked this year :U) But I personally think it was great fun (And I gained a free water bottle and shirt :3)!

Thanks for reading,
Kandor
