Good luck though, not sure about the US but over here they'd be fine.
RSBot has been shut down, but whilst most people think this is permanent - it is very unlikely. The owner Qauters has been in court with Fagex with their lawyers, as they're kind of on a path to shut down every bot site.
Qauters has had to close the site for the rest of court process, or risk being fined a lot of money. Where do I come into this? Well a little known fact round here is that I am, or was, a head coder on the RSBot project. Now apparently, word has gotten round that they're going to track down all the authors of significant content and sue them too. So I'm kind of in a bad position right now, but thankfully I haven't done anything wrong - most of the things I built are simply human like mouse movement and robotic functions, error handling and of course model viewing.. which isn't illegal. Wait! None of it is, Fagex's Terms & Conditions aren't the law. Well.. if this is true..
I'll see you in fucking court, Fagex.
Oh, the SVN is still up @ http://rsbot2.googlecode.com/svn/trunk/. If anyone needs any scripts made hit me up here. What the fucking ever Jagex.

So no more bots for RS are there anymore? coz i only used RSbot and Kbot is down too i think?
Umm smileyface, quaters lives in the netherlands hes mentioned it several times on rsbot.org and told me personally on msn...
The court hearing according to the article is occurring in Boston USA, so i'm judging they'll be using the laws there, no idea why though as Jagex is a British company.
You must not use other software to gain an unfair advantage in our
games. This includes automation tools, macros, bots, or autotypers.
You may not circumvent any of our mechanisms designed
to automatically log out inactive users.
You also must not use any game-specific, third-party software that
encourages breaking of our rules, or bypasses the normal
navigation of our website, or automatically requests pages from
our website, or which endangers user accounts.
Does this not seem like a very poor choice of wording, and is almost saying that it is not needed to use this to gain an advantage by using the work must?
Also is they can claim to never have agreed to these terms that RS has is there not longer any case against them or have i not read far enough yet.
