My friend introduced it to me like 6 months back and I tried it for a few days but didn't have any luck. He got an account with 2 half jugs of wine back from 2003. If you know what your doing I guess it can be very profitable.
What it is is you look up a lot of info on one person, then use this info to try to recover the account. You will be surprised how much you can figure out from just a name and an email..
There are old forums that you can use to look up old players and try to dox them. I lost the link but I am sure a simple Google search can find them.
If you have tried it, know any tips/suggestions?

No because you recover them, not try and log in
You get as many details about them and then recover it. Its hard because you have to get the creation date correct.
well its kinda hard u must have accurate info i have never tried but i got one off my acc's back
