Thread: Guide on Botting Overnight

Hey guys here I am writing another guide. This one is going to be focused on botting runescape while you sleep or work, ect. This guide is for laptops only since you can simply start the bot on your desktop and leave.

Settings you need before you start:

Step 1: On your mini taskbar you should see an icon with a battery representing your battery charge. Right click that and click adjust power properties.


Step 2: Once the power settings are open there should be a bar saying "power schemes" make sure thats set to always on.


Step 3: Below the power schemes are the more advanced settings. Make sure that nothing turns off when your computer is plugged in. make sure all the settings are like the ones shown above.

Step 4: On one of the tabs there should be a tab called "advanced". Click that and see you can choose what happens when you close the lid of the laptop. Make sure it's set to "do nothing".


Those are the settings you need to have before you can start AFK botting.

Now for actual botting:

Step 1: When you start to bot, you need to decide whether or not to turn break handlers on or off. I have mine off because no one plays runescape for an hour then takes a 10 minute break for 10 hours. So decide that and make sure randoms are on so you don't get flagged because you keep failing randoms.

Step 2: Make sure you wake up in time to stop the bot at 7-10 hours. or have your computer automatically turn off. Don't worry its perfectly fine to bot over 10 hours some days. Just make sure your bot is good at randoms and jagex probably can't ban you.

Step 3: Know what your computer is capable of. You can bot more than 1 account at a time, just make sure your computer can handle it all night because if the bots lag they may fail and have you stuck in a random or a bank or something.

Step 4: Now once your sure your computer is set to run bots all night, start the bot, close the lid, plug in your charger, and FLIP THE COMPUTER UPSIDE DOWN. Do this because the fans are on the bottom and they have to blow out air constantly so your computer doesn't overheat from running programs with your charger in all night.

If you follow all of these steps perfectly you'll be making gp easily while you sleep with little risk to your account depending on your bot. This is mostly for educational purposes, if your computer can't handle these bots and you do it anyway I'm not responsible.
