Here's another moneywasting skill so if you're broke you might want to go for an easier 99 like Woodcutting or Mining.

Levels 1-16

Room: Parlour

Item: Crude Wooden Chairs



Builds needed: 42

So to get started you'll need some planks and some nails. You'll also need a hammer, although for other items you'll need more tools like saws. Go to your house (I'm assuming you have already purchased a house) and start building and then removing Crude Wooden Chairs. You'll need to make about 42 of them before you get to level 16.


Levels 16-33

Room: Workshop

Item: Repair Benches



Builds needed: 130

Now that you've reached level 16 attach a Workshop to your parlour. Then build a Repair Bench with oak planks instead of regular planks. You'll need about 260 Oak Planks to make this. Also, Repair Benches don't require a hammer so you can leave that at the bank for now.


Levels 33-74

Room: Kitchen

Item: Oak Larders



Builds needed: 2,246

You're going to need a lot of Oak Planks for this (about 18,000). You'll also need your hammer and a saw. Using the same technique as before (and in your kitchen this time, once you've built one) build and remove Oak Larders until you reach level 74. It's surprisingly quick, actually. You'll be at 99 very soon.


B]Levels 74-99[/B]

Room: Dungeon

Item: Oak Doors



Builds needed: ???

The tip it Construction calculator doesn't even know how many of these you'll need to make to get to 99, but we can assume it's close to 25,000. This will need to be made in your Dungeon using the same technique as before. You'll need 10 Oak Planks per door and no hammer or saw. Right about now it'd be a good idea to get a butler from Ardougne. These require a bit of money, but they allow you to bank directly from your house which is very useful. Just keep going and you'll be 99 in no time!

Once you're 99 you can start building as many rooms as you want and furnish to your hearts content. Go take a look at the Runescape Wiki page for furniture to get some ideas and material/tool lists.
