If moderators are not there to moderate, why are they moderators? When I spoke to you on BP chat I said it wasn't about moderators not doing what they're supposed to. My point from the very beginning was moderators who are online not moderating. I completely understand the concept of having a life, having other things to do; however, if you are online, logged in on your account you obviously have some sort of time available. If a moderator decides to take a break and wants to spend that time on Buypoe, then no he does not need to moderate.

If you take vacation time from your place of employment, are you not allowed to enter that building until your vacation time is up? Really you're fussing over nothing.

Yes the moderator team needs to be reformed. I've been pressing for this the day I was made GM. However, it's Davees site and he is going to run it the way he sees fit. Not how we see fit. He has no problem with allowing moderators to take a month+ break. I personally don't agree with it, but guess what there is shit all I can do about it because he can override anything I do.

That's life, deal with it.

If every mod takes a collective prolonged break.. How is that a moderator team?

I understand that completely. However, if columnists and all sorts of article writers have to undergo review on buypoe shouldn't ALL staff positions (including moderators) go under review?

If the whole group of moderators apart from a couple are doing nothing and all are having 'breaks' then who is going to be moderating for them?

Meh I'm tired of waiting for Davee to deal with it. All knows how much longer that'll be.
