Well guys here's my side of the incidence and my own logic applied with it with time accurate to within the hour. Time is as per GMT +5:30

I wake up on Tuesday morning, date 26th Oct 2010. I check my computer for messages only to find out that >:3 and Whiskers had some PoE for sale. I try to contact them but my keyboard is F****UP'ed ( q,w,e,r,...,p key row isn't working). I say some gibberish to them which obviously none of them made sense off.

I then head up to the local Internet cyber cafe and login to MSN to find out that Whiskers had sold the PoE. I then was about to log off just as Jordan signed in or I noticed him after he had dc'ed. So I ask him if he still had the fam for sale. He says that he converted it into PoE and then sold most of the PoE and had 500k left. I ask him if I could buy it. After finalizing the deal, he says:

Okay but you log on my acc go to my chest and give yourself it. Can yu? I'm really to lazy to get outa bed

Right..so I'm having a little "Wha.." moment and then I think well, I can't get scammed if I get the PoE first can I? So I decide to go through with it. He asks me to login with the account "toaztyyy" and then I'm like dude..that doesn't exist.
So I think he's added an extra Y in the MSN message and I removed a Y, only to find out that the acc was banned. And that too for
"Possession of stolen goods".

So he says:

Itsnot toaztyyy. There many why's. Keep doing us. Wow sas. Idk 5 I think it was saved on my computer. Just keep doing that

I think I did about 4-5 Y's and Ys's before I'm like, "Dude srly wtf?". So he says:

I trait you I'll go first

Then he says, erm..I have like 420k not 500k.

So I say quote the new price of about 13-14$ plus a month of my eXo Code Bilger which is 5-8$ per month. He agrees and asks for my username. I give him that I ask him to give me a second. He says.."K" and then without waiting sends the PoE.

Now any known PoE dealer would know that giving me PoE from an account that has recently sold 1m+ PoE through a /pay is noob. Anyway, I receive it and then ask him that I'd like to wait for 5-10mins before I send the payment just in case he as reported me, since that's the average time an OM takes to resolve a theft petition.

He nows says he has to go to sleep and keeps his MSN online and goes to sleep. Note that his MSN status DOES NOT turn to AWAY.
I wait for about 8 mins and I'm about to send him the payment just went "Network has closed server connections". WHAM. I'm banned. Now I've already sent him link to the bot and stuff at this point. I block the bot login details and well..wait for him to come online.

When he does he accuses me of changing his password. Apparently the username he gave me had to have 6 "Y"s added and an "S"s, I suppose since that was his alt and the one I logged into was his main. This is revealed to me in front of Moderator ViridianSeller.

Conclusion:
In a nut shell:

I'm banned.
He claims to have his alt pass changed. (Which he might have easily created later on)
His main is banned before I logged into it and he admits that.
He blames me for getting banned and wants his cash. He says it's my fault I couldn't take his instructions properly.
He demands that I give his account's password back(I'm still confused with the username. It's either 6 Ys and a S or & Ys and a S or 5 Ys and no s or so) which I don't know head or tails 'bout.

Frankly, I'm a developer, through my guide and other products I've made at least 100$+ and I don't see the point is scamming someone for 14$. But my point is that what is wrong is wrong. He can't accuse me of stealing his PoE when my acc "XYZ" is banned because of him.

Note that I'm not demanding the user to be banned or anything because I don't have proof of him reporting me. My ban reason was "Theft of PoE and Ban evasion" however, this doesn't mean he reported me. Maybe logging into his main triggered it. My point is just that I am not fully at fault. My acc has been banned and I have lost just as much as he did and he could be clearly about his "instructions" or could have mentioned that his main was banned and I shouldn't try logging in when I directly asked him this question.

Names of accounts have been not disclosed for security purposes however will be revealed to any Mod+ who demands them. The following is photographic proof to stand by my story:

Just discovered something more. In the above screenshot. If you read carefully he says, I think it's 5 "Y"s at the end. Even when I try 5 ys right now, the account DOES NOT EXIST.

Apparently thanks to the precautions I took I didn't loose 15$ and frankly..call me whatever you want but I value money. It's not the fact of being a mere 15$ but this could happen to anyone. Even with 150$. So just be careful. This is all I'm saying.

To be honest, you're both at fault here, he shouldn't have given away his passwords and accounts like that and you shouldn't have really accepted the PoE from a /pay, nor logged into his account, even though he did give you permission.

As you accepted the PoE and didn't send it back and were going to send him payment, he completed his side of the bargain, so to be honest in my opinion you do owe him $14's for the PoE as you did accept it. As you stated, he may not have reported you, so in essence it might not have been his fault that you were banned.

Either way, I'll leave it up to other mods. I'd say pay the $14's and leave it at that, as you did technically accept the PoE and not send it back.

i listen to death and jordan,you're both at foult. BUT,i decided that death does not own him 14 usd as the seller didnt finish the transaction because he was "lazy" to log and send him the payment.if he wouldnt be "lazy" this would not even happen.just my opinion...

I think it was handled all wrong, middlemans should of been used, an accounts should of never logged in. He should of done what a seller should does an you should of done what a buyer should does. Example (a seller should log into HIS account, get the poe ready, invite the user trade, etc etc etc.) (a buyer should pay the user immediately after receiving the poe, should back out of it if its at all suspicious). I don't believe it was handled well either way, so i think it should be half an half from what I heard from you.

In my oppinion you all should learn from these transactions and for God sake use a MM. Death should not pay jordan any money because technically it's not death's fault.

Technically death received the goods though, which in turn ment Jordan fulfilled his part of the deal, death did not. I agree its kinda a touchy area. Hence why I said 50/50, I think fault lies on both of them.

I contacted the OM Galene. She said that the user was reported by the person he stole PoE from. However due to our confidentiality policy she won't give me anymore.

KK, Please post that response from Galene, if thats true don't pay him anything, we dont like scamming of any innocent parties, even if they arent on BP. If we can prove it definitely then I would rather have him banned from our site.
