If you show proof we will gladly work with you to fix the problem. I cant put enough emphasise on this though you better show proof if you are accusing a moderator.

I would love to show proof, but I cannot really. I could show a screenshot of my empty paypal history, but that could just be an alternate account, to try to trick ya (It could be claimed as such) - and on a new computer and I forgot to set up to save convos, but that could also be faked.

Since I know it's basically impossible to prove i'm not bullshitting, I just want people to be aware and to not go first, even if the person is mod refered, because you'l end up like me.

Also, if you check in the thread, link at bottom of this post, you will see that >:3 said he would MM for free, and that he was indeed a friend of his, as I asked him to verify. I can't prove it didn't go down, because my PayPal obviously didn't record what didn't happen, so meh.

If this happened on MSN, did you save the conversation, or close it?

Also, knowing what happened would help.

edit: Boulderbane has been banned for ban evasion. Further information on how you were still scammed even though you use a middle man would be appreciated.

I did close the MSN, and I as I believe I stated, I forgot to turn on save chat logs, but here is what happened:

I added Boulderbane on MSN, and he asked me if I was willing to use a MM. I said yes, if it was a mod, or a well known one. He said >:3 was a bud of his and would do it for free, so I agreeded, and make a post on forums to verify that this was true, and not a trick. >:3 posted it was true, and gave me his e-mail.

Me and boulder then discussed a price, and he said he would think about it. With a few mins of >:3 logging off, Boulder said he was willing to do it. When I pointed out that >:3 was offline, and we would have to wait, he started pressing that we should just do it with me going first, because he was verified by a mod. I declined, and said we would just have to wait, or he would have to go first. But he kept pressing the fact we should just do it now, and that he was trustworthy. This made me suspicious.

After a while, I had agreed to do it in two parts, with me going first, because he WAS mod approved, and I thought better of the mod then I obviously should of. I asked him to give me a pic of his PayPal account, so I could make sure he had the money. He did, and he had it. But, I noticed something. The name read as A A. The same name that was on the MSN of the guy who had scammed me earlier, who you guys banned. Which immediatly made me stop and basically spaz on Boulder.

Then he offered to go first. Obviously that made me believe he wasn't spamming. It was going fine, he sent me the money apperently, and I kept refreshing, so I could see I had it before i give him the good. Nothing happened, and he was spazzing, calling me a scammer etc. (Note: From the previous person who scammed me, he kept poking at me, saying I was likely a scammer) Then I relised he had "Sent" it to an un-verified account of mine, and not the one I told him to use. So I told him how to cancel the payment, and I verified the account, and told him to send it to the right account. At this point he had tricked me into believing he was legit, because I would have reacted just like he did. So he asked if I could go first this time, because he was scared I would scam him. I thought sure, i'll do it, I really doubt he is scamming me.

I did it. He waited. Said it was processing. Send it was sent. Said: Thanks for a smooth transaction. - then removed me. Also >:3 read as online on the forums when it read him as offline on MSN, therefore, I am guessing he removed me.

Sent a petition to Ocean Masters to verify what was traded. Since Boulderbane used that as his pirate name it is more proof. - waiting on a responce And no, that's not the only SS.

Nothing was mentioned ingame, and nothing happened except a trade. Not a single word was said on PP. Nothing to worry about.

Um, what exactly are you doing here anyways with your obviously limited knowladge? Send a support to OOO saying: Hai i broke ur ToS so i will get banned but can i liek, have mah stuffs back? plsssssss?

There's nothing we can do really, you should have waited for a middleman to be available, >:3 is not the only one who middlemans, most of the mods do. I'm sorry that you have been scammed, but sadly it is your own fault for willing to go first each time without any sort of guarantee. He has been banned and i will continue to monitor the IP to ban him in case he returns. I will also check with >:3 why he was approving a scammer. As stated though, nothing we can do that hasn't already been done. As you sent him the PoE and it is registered on your IP, there is nothing you can do to get a refund on the money.
