Unbanning is so rare that no one can really make a decent guide for it. You have to simply tell them what happened and hope for the best
I'm sorry guys, I don't quite know what forum to put this in. However today I was banned for "Assisting Ban Evaders".
1. I'm not too sure what this is.
2. If it's what I think it is, helping banned people out, I haven't!
So what do I do D;? I've emailed them, and I've known people to be unbanned in the pass, so how to I become one of them people?
P.S I don't just want to create a new account because I managed to get good stats and 800k, which is a lot to me x.x

This is just my opinion so don't go based off it as it might not work;
Ask them for sufficient proof that you were assisting ban evaders, there might be a reasonable explanation like using an ip that a ban evader could of used, if you've bought doubloons mention it, mention how upset you are and your effort that would go to waste (optional) and like wastedbro said. Hope for the best!

I've asked for the proof, thank you for that advice
I think if they don't do that (As they don't need to give proof) I'll go all Emo on them and say how I put a lot of hard work and effort into the puzzles and without them I can't reassure myself that I can achieve in life.
If they really do have proof of who you supposedly helped just ask them for pirate names, when I got banned they said one of the reason's was for assisting a banned person and helping them in game, giving poe etc. When you send off a plea ask them if you can have the names of the pirate you helped, when I did this I got all the pirate names of the banned person
What if I helped someone without knowing they had previously been banned? This is ridiculous
Well, it should be pretty obvious. For example, if you randomly gave a green alt 1m poe for poker and he got banned the next day, it is safe to say you helped a banned player. But if you loaned a sword to a mate in your crew, that is you just being Generous. I would ask which player they think you were assisting and tell them that you did not know they were banned and have no intention of trying to help people get back into the game. State you are aware of the rules of YPP and respect them; you wouldn't intentionally help them break the rules. Apologize to the OM for accidentally helping someone if thats what happened, and assure them that you will be careful in the future. Say you understand how what you did could be harmful to the game environment and will do everything in your power to make sure it doesn't happen again.
I think most OMs will be generous in giving out second chances as long as it does not involve botting or speedhacking. Stating you made a mistake ****even if you didnt!*****, acknowledging that you are wrong, and recognizing that what you did is harmful to YPP shows you deserve a second chance. If you are polite, helpful, remorseful, and thankful for an opportunity to continue playing, there is no reason for them not to strongly reconsider unbanning you.
Good Luck!
Edit- OMs get so many people who don't know how to ban appeal. The little brother excuse isnt valid, but people do it all the time. People complain at the oms, curse them out, and are sarcastic with them. These people are the ones that don't get unbanned. You can't expect them to show you mercy if you approach them from a state of view that shows them you think they are wrong and don't give two shits about them. You have to show them that you know everyone is human and sometimes makes mistakes, whether it be you or the Oms. A little kindness goes a long way, don't forget that when dealing with Oms. There is no reason to be an asshole to them, it will NEVER help your case.
