Blockade Guide

There are three types of blockades : Blockade Island , Brigand Kind Blockades and Blockade Events.

In this guide we will talk about Blockade Island and a little about BK ones.


First lets start with the definition , a blockade means when a flag takes control on an island .
It is structured in a number of rounds, in a best-of-five format. There is a fifteen minute break between each round, with an extra hour between rounds 3 and 4.
Each round lasts 45 minutes.

The only ones who can declare a blockade are the flag royalty , which needs to aboard a ship which is docked on the specified island clicking "Blockade" button under the Vessel tab , a confirmation message will be received that your war chest has to be payed then. After you do that , you will participate at the blockade.

If we are talking about a colonized island , the crew flag has to declare war before being able to pay the war chest!

Attention ! Your crew fame needs to be at least *shown below* to be able to blockade for a island.


For uncolonised islands depends on the size:

Noted - Outpost - and war chest : 25K
Established - Medium island - and war chest : 75K
Renowned - Large island - and war chest : 125K


For colonised islands the war chest will have a additional fee depending on the island's population.


Types of Blockades Sinking / Non-Sinking

Basically the main difference is that in the sinking your ships can sink and on the non-sinking they will "sink" you back to the dock with full bilge and carp damage.

Jobbing types in a Blockade Island

Even : Everyone receives equal shares.
Performance : Pirates with better duty reports receive more.
Elite : Extreme version of Performance.
Gunners' Glory : Gunners receive extra pay.
Jobbers' Delight : Pirates from outside the flag are paid extra.
Jobbers Only : Only pirates from outside the flag receive pay.


Ship Colors

Red for Attack
Green for Defender

How to win the blockade?

Well you need to win most of the rounds .
