How to Reformat



******WARNING ABOUT REFORMATS******
When you format a hard drive you will lose everything that is on the drive. It's very important to back up anything you might want. Also, if you are going to be reformat, make sure you have your windows installation discs so you can initiate the reformat and install your operating system.

Take a second and back up everything you want or need on your external hard drive, CD, or thumb drive.




Reformat is a very big, very scary word to most people. But it is really simple.
Your computer should have the reinstalltion disc. For whatever OS you have, Reformatting is simple.

Step one,
Make sure your reinstallation orOS disc is not damaged at all.
If it is Damaged you may want to buy a factory image reset disc, which is cheaper than buying a new os.
You will have to contact your computer company or call microsoft for a link that meets your computer. (I was told this by a microsoft employee over the phone)


Step two,
Insert the disc and reset your computer.
It should boot automatically, but if not select boot from CD at the beginning.


Step three,
Follow instructions on screen to the reformat process.

Step four,

Step five.
wait

Step six,
Play some ps3 while waiting, if you haven't got a ps3, buy one then play it.













Wireless card or Tmac?


Wireless:

Sorry mates, if you use wireless things are gonna get a whole lot more annoying, and if you use a laptop it may get a bit more costly.

Tmac rarely ever works on wireless cards.


But what to get?
If you have a tower PC, and not a laptop. You can buy a wireless card from tigerdirect.com for a relatively cheap price.

If you have a laptop, you will need a USB wireless adapter, those can run you 50 dollars.

PC's that do not use a wireless connection. You are in luck.

Go to a friends house, and steal their mac address. You can view their active mac address using Tmac. Assuming they have never played ypp before it should be clean.











Vpns.
You may choose your own vpn but I would suggest the hidemyass vpn. However do NOT use any european Servers as someone *cough* viridianseller *cough* has had ypp detect them all.


Fun things to note about vpns.
Do not log in ypp or even ypp without checking your vpn is up and working
You need to be logged into the vpn when installing the game and when making your account.
Do not log in paypal without disconnecting your vpn. It will instantly limit your account.
Set your time on your pc to the timezone on your VPN. It just makes you look legit.
