Bump for this guide. I made 1.5k EACH BATTLE I WON. Really like this damn trick.

It's blatantly obvious when the bots go into a frenzy. For example, when you kill the BK in a BK fight, the BK sends a war cry. Also, this myth has been around since the beginning of Y!PP and has been thrown out the window countless times. I'm amazed that people still believe it.

What about if you boot them after the battle? How will teh booty be?

Honestly I thought I was the only person to do this, I have game tables on my ship so I can gamble while waiting for more engages.
I don't even retaliate I use my 4 guns I pre-load and let them come to me; if you're Renowned+ SF/Rumble these are very easy to win; the rumbles can be slightly harder but they're still very easy.

I don't bother with the hats last though, I haven't personally noticed a difference in booty and don't hunt expeditions as the BK's if you're solo when you attempt to engage them "don't like the odds of the battle" and disappear.
