Thread: How to obtain Ultimate at a renowned level (Hyper ranking guide)

Ever wonder how people get stats like the following?





Well now you can! It doesn't take much skill to obtain ultimate using this method, just a basic knowledge of the puzzle.

To begin you are going to want to obtain officer in a crew and have or have access to a ship. Next, you will need to go aboard the ship and chart anywhere you want (only 1 LP is needed). Configure the voyage to swabby and deposit the correct amount of poe to pay for it in the hold. I prefer to boot all of the bots unless I am doing bilge, as it makes it easier later on.

When you first set sail hop on the station you wish to boost up. Do this puzzle until you obtain a shiny indicator (i.e. a shiny sail, a shiny hammer, a shiny pump ect.) Once then do 1-2 more stars as to not drop in stat. Once you have done this, leave the station. You will now need to wait at least 1 minute before getting back on the station. What this does is it will keep your indicator at the same position it was at with out dropping at all like normal. Every time you get off the station, it counts as a session and will increase your stat, when you get back on you are at the same position and just have to simply maintain this state and not drop. Your sessions can be very short as well. Preferably I like to do 1-2 stars minimum and usually aim for 3-4. If you do happen to drop off shiny indicator and go to gold, keep puzzling till it returns to shiny no matter how long it takes.

Meanwhile while you are doing all this you need to make sure that your ship will never hit the league point ahead of you or else all your indicators will reset. Once you get off of one station and are waiting, you can feel free to do another station in the meantime. To utilize time and maximize success I like to do two stats at once. Such as bilge and carp or any combo really. The reason for booting all the bots at the beginning is so that you do not gain speed. You can keep 2 if you like and keep one on bilge and the other on carp if you are bilging. But if someone comes into your ship you may not notice and the bot will automatically take a sailing station.

This strategy can easily get you ultimate, let alone #1 in any duty puzzle you are decent at. Also, as my friend has tested, using this method can get you #1 bilge with sheer bilge. I would not be surprised if any other bot that can manage high excellent and low incred could get you #1.

This method is very useful. I know from experience that you don't have to be extremely good to get ultimate. In reality, I am a master rigger and struggle to get increds. With this method I obtained Ultimate rigging in only 4 hours of work. If you think about it, that is a very short time only being a master rigging to obtain Ultimate. Once you start to master other puzzles you will be able to get ultimate under an hour and sometimes even under 30 minutes from able!

You can even obtain a #1 trophy/ultimate trophy without having the incredible trophy for that puzzle for the lols.
