well they have been running for a awhile they are like ocean wide comps that usually last 30mins and whoever puzzles the best out of those 30 mins get prizes and stuff, its like a tourney

I held 8th for a while in a smithing one.. then afterwards i found out, within those 30 minutes, it's not how many you can do and it averages, but it's your one overall highest score for 1 of those puzzles

I found that out a year ago after gunning for 4 hours just to be beaten by someone who won 3 familiars in the day they had 4 hour comps for each puzzle.
