BuyPoe.com was initially started to create a better place to trade mmorpg games currencies and have a better team of moderating, less scamming.

Febuary 3, 2009
Domain names were brainstormed, of the few were, tradepoe.com, sellpoe.com, buypoe.com, tradester.com, puzzlepoe.com, tradingmarketplace.com, and some even worst ones. We decided to go with the title that best described the point of the site in the shortest ammount of letters. The domain name would be shorter than domain names such as facebook.com, myspace.com xD

Febuary 4,2009
Davee was reluctant to start the site. Shadow declared that he would work equally as hard. If they were to start a site, Shadow said he'd be consistent.

February 5, 2009
Davee decided to go with the site, buypoe.com. Shadow was able to get a 50% deal off a hosting service called sharkspace. Costed approximately $120 for a year with a domain cost of $10/year.

February 6th
The hosting and domain names were bought. The beginning of BuyPoe.com initially started on this day. Basic layout was formulated from Sythe.com's layout...later changed drastically.

Febuary 7th -30th
We went with a Pirate theme. This was the beginning BuyPoe.com Revolution 1. The pirate theme was catchy but had it's downsides. It was brownish, and pixelated in some areas. Navigation was difficult, and visibility was also a problem. DemonFox(#1) and Sparky(#2) were one of our first moderators to global moderators.

March 1st-30th
Shadow disappeared throughout this month. At times, I'd only see him for a few minutes every 2 weeks or so. The theme changed sometime during this month. BuyPoe.com was averaging 1 member per day or less. We had approximately 50 -100 members,

March 30th
Revolution of BuyPoe.com 2! The theme switched drastically to a darker, black, technology styled them in which the top buttons moved from left to right. Snipes joined the global moderator team sometime around here.


April 1st -30th
Sparky came back around this time. He left alot. Many grew skeptical of his ethics. Tim joined the Buypoe.com team. Of many scandals he seemed to be in, he came clean and became a strong force in BuyPoe.com. Relly on Viridian joined the BuyPoe.com Team

May 1st 2009
Shadow (old admin) never signed on anymore. Davee was pretty sick of the whole "I'll work equally as hard". I believe Shadow went on to work on another site/ joined the army. Never heard from him again. Relly and Davee started BuypoeMod channel but they didn't make videos for 1 month.
Member count at 2-4 people per day.

June 2009
The BuyPoe.com team started getting serious about getting the site out. They ripped off the Buypoe channel and started making quality videos on Buypoemod channel. They got a moral boost with 100k+ views on all videos on youtube. They knew they had something great going, they just knew they needed to get the word out. Youtube teams started out. Of the many teams, BuyPoeMod had begun and was starting to generate alot of views and traffic. BuyPoeMod is share youtube account between Davee and Relly. Many policies came out, were rejected, and accepted, figuring out what to do and how to do it became our #1 priorities.

July 2009
Davee and the BP team started promoting the sites in directories and search engines, and advertising on other sites/games. Purchasing forum accounts with 200+ posts was one strategy of marketing.
Member count was at 5-10/day.

July 26th 2009
Shadow was removed of admin due to no work/presence on the site in 4ish months. Sever was upgraded to a faster, green server, purchased for the next 3 years. However a server switch may come soon as the server seems having trouble with the loads of BP.com. (Or it could be Davee's internet)

August 2009
Many systems passed and failed this month. Some of many were: Xperience system, karma system, points system. Referral via VIP became an option. Testing VIP prices, what seemed legit and honest to people became a #1 priority. Member count was at 10-15/day,

Member count at 15-23 day. September experienced a lot of growth. Davee was back in school. The BP team was finally becoming an established force. An entire Pyramid was developed, which can be seen here: BuyPoe.com Pyramid

The occurrence of the first global moderator community poll occured. Between all the mods, two of them pulled ahead, Champrb and Pokerking. In a tied vote, Davee made the poll last 24hours, a recount established, and Pokerking won it. However Pokerking quickly retired soonly after making the position. Some possible reasons was because he got hacked by former friends. Member count was at 20-30/day and 50 on saturdays. As Relly is busy with school until a weekend, Davee has to work on youtube channel. Ranked 203,232

BuyPoe.com Get's Hacked legitly for the first time by an arab hacking group. Tim produces a revenge prank call video. Davee Rolls back the server 5 days to restore everything. Re-vamps up the security. Unneeded things are deleted. BP is running on Vbulletin 4.0 Beta 3.

Buypoe.com hits 5000 members! Also Forum-Skins.com ranks top 200,000 sites within 2 months while BP ranks at 128,693. Further news: BP is at vbulletin 4.0.2. About to be upgraded. Establishment of the beginning of Elite VIP. Some other things that happened was 2 bots were added to VIP: Pro-bilge bot, Ultimate Pillage bot. At this point, we are hoping for vbulletin board of the month which will give us a PR6 link back and tons of traffic to bp.

BuyPoe Gets back on its feet after being penalized by the search engines. Lots of work is undergoing, and were glad to get back onto the right start. To the future of bp.

Were in Google News and witnessing strange outburts of crazy traffic. Our team has become stronger, more dynamic and we introduced the posiition of Project Manager to focus more on branches of apprentices. We're ranked 59,000 in alexa and getting anywhere between 150-500k uniques a month.

Any member who is accepted into the BPteam will be added to this the day they are invited. It's tough to state which day BP team members were added prior to this. Anybody joining the team now will be added to the history. Any bpteam members can private message me to add in their bpteam join date.

Mods can pm me to have themselves entered into the history since they don't have physical permisions to edit this file. GMs can add their personal histories and any info they find relevant at any time.

Also I wrote up most of the history currently on my memory in one day :/ Its tough to remember everything. New history postings will be more detailed since they are added closer to the date posted.
