THE VIRAL FACTOR
Director: Dante Lam
- Jay Chou as Jon Man (萬飛)
- Nicholas Tse as Man Yeung (萬陽)
- Lin Peng as Rachel Kan (簡麗珊) (pretty girl in white, she's an actress from China)
- Bai Bing as Ice (girl in black) (also from China)
(The 4 casts mentioned are those shown in the poster)
The Viral Factor is about a bioterrorist organisation out to earn tons of money by creating an epidemic and then marketing the vaccine to governments.
The fight scenes were not too shabby, and included lots of different weapons, with vehicles taking a landmine, carbomb, and RPG at different parts of the movie. However, if you're the type who likes realistic fight scenes, this movie is not for you. Jay Chou can take ten different calibre direct hits and still run, jump, shoot.
The character development i rank it as a 7.5/10, good effort. The relationship between Jay Chou and Nicholas Tse goes through a lot of twists and turns throughout the film. This movie also does not give you any sense of rushing through the whole plot in an unrealistic period of time or undefined time passage, which is one thing I hate about movies
It clocks in at 2 hrs 2 mins, and i highly recommend it as a film buff (or i like to think i am)
Cheerios.
