Thread: Activision Uninvite Porn Star from Modern Warfare 3 Party!

Ha ha ha! Modern Warfare 3? More like Modern Whore-fare... 3.

Yes, Buypoers - it appears that Dutch porn star Kim Holland was originally invited and then very quickly uninvited from a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 VIP party set to be held in Amsterdam later this month, after news got out to the games' publisher about what she did for a living.

This speedy uninvitation had Holland questioning Activision's seemingly hypocritical take on sex versus violence and I think she may have a point! You see, as a porn-lover myself I fe-... Ahh never mind!

Believe it or not - Holland is an avid gamer and one of her favorite series' is, you guessed it, Call of Duty. She originally blogged that she was delighted when she got the invite for the big MW3 party - being informed that she'd also be receiving a free copy of the game and a new Xbox 360. However, moments later she recieved a second e-mail informing her that she was no longer welcome to join the party. The reason? Activision apparently found out how she makes her moolah.

Holland then posted the email she recieved on her blog, which Google translate reads:

"Unpleasant announcement. The American publisher of Modern Warfare 3 has indicated that they prefer no representatives of the adult entertainment industry at the party. And so there must be some women in Britain and the Netherlands who are also canceled. I know, a little hypocritical, but the U.S. is the U.S. and I'm just the messenger."

It has also been revealed that the e-mail was sent from the organizers at the Dutch television program Gamekings (the guys who are throwing the big launch party). Holland obviously wasn't too pleased with the dis-invite, continuing to write on her blog that she's surprised a game publisher that makes its name about killing people would turn their noses up at someone who works in the sex industry.

Rather hillariously she argues:

"People murdering people is neat, but love-makers are dirty?"

After being enquired into by numerous sites, Activision declined to comment for the story.
