What? Does the programming section never get looked at? Or is there no one who can help me?
Hey, so i'm in the process of learning SCAR. I think I have all of the basics down, I could even make a script for something simpler like Runescape. My question is, what type of functions/procedures do you use to get the more complex logic to be able to make something like a bilge bot? In lots of Runescape scripts, the script doesn't need to 'know' how to do much. Click on this color, check HP, click on this color, etc... A bilge bot however, would need to have a more complex 'brain' so it could 'think' about what moves would be best to make. If someone actually has an example bilge bot, that would be nice. (I'm not going to use it, i'm just trying to get a more in-depth understanding of SCAR).
P.S. - For future reference, if I decide to make use of my SCAR coding abilities. Is it possible to write complex enough anti-ban in SCAR as to make a script undectectable by Three Rings?

Dun get me started xD.Go with Java, not scar
Urm..which language you choose to code your program in, is completely your choice.
Java is preferred for Runescape Botting because not only is Runescape itself designed in Java but most botting communities for Runescape also use Java.
SCAR is a more detectable coding platform. It's good for you to learn to code but publishing codes in SCAR is not something I would recommend.
As far as the algorithm of codes is concerned they wary from coder to coder.
The most successful bilge algo. that I've seen works on a simple principal by which each move is given a score. Like Bingos = 3 and Vegas = 4, the bot is capable of detected all possible moves from singles to vegas. Then depending upon the move with the highest score it makes that move. Obviously but putting in moves that can give a higher score after the first move we can plan tripples, etc. Again, this is a very brief/short version of the entire rather complex algo as compared to Runescape ones if you know what I mean.
This is helpful, but remember, i just know the basics... How do i get the bots to detect the moves? Do you assign the different colors of the bilge pieces to a constant? If so, then where do you go from there?...
-If anyone has an old/detected script or something, that'd be useful...
Not sure how it works in SCAR but I am sure there's a function which compares a screen shot with constant image which allows you to find out which piece is where. As for working out moves your going to probably need arrays to track the pieces : Array data structure - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Don't ask me about SCAR specifics but I am sure it will have something similar.
I was thinking that, but i'm not sure how to use an array or matrix to do it, and i think you would need many many array/matrices to do it, arranged just the right way. Tis' the glory of programming, one wrong character and your whole program is f'ed up, lol.
Seriously... old bilging script anyone? Even in java or any other similar programs might work... but something that i can take the code and look at, don't give me a link to a crystal bilge download (unless its an actual .class file or something).

If you go to bots and programs, i'm pretty sure the first sticky "Puzzle pirate bots" has 3 scar scrips to look at
If I seem emotionless to you... As if I just simply don't care about you, what your saying, or anything else going on, Its because I really don't care. Sorry.
