Actually i do this all the time. It helped me a lot...i found 3 scamers only last week. Thanks davee for pointing this out<3
The other day, a random msn came to me. Before deciding to keep talking to this guy, who wanted to buy or sell poe and go first, i typed his msn into buypoe search.
It came up as Glamis...a known scammer on BP.
So before doing a trade, just do a quick search on bp and see if it's a known email address. All threads are indexed well so just try it out, could save you alot of misery and time later.

I do this too. Just earlier 'Keeramn@hotmail.something :P' tried to add me, and a quick search (although I knew quite clearly that it wasn't >:3, why would he try and add me twice? =L) proved sufficient. He is now blocked
They really help a lot indeedJust now I got like 4 known scammers trying to add me lol
is there possibly a better way to file the MSNs of scammers? I know some dont add in an MSN in their contacts but it seems a bit necessary I just got contacted by goose4201@hotmail.com a search of the MSN comes up with nothing buts its panza223s MSN he used for stat raising before he was banned
His MSN is listed in his most recent post in this thread http://buypoe.com/game-trading/8075-...reknowned.html but not anywhere that the server can automatically add it to his profile
