Hey,
Been a while ^_^, well was busy with college and life.
Anyway, just yesterday my mate made a sphere using a few effects on photoshop he made it look like it was a sphere made out of glass... and for some reason he doesn't want to tell me which effect/filters he used -.-" that a friend for ya.
Well so without his help I had a go at trying to achieve the set goal, but when I looked at it it looks more like plexi plastic (thats the material which those plastic 25 CD/DVD cilinder type boxes (or what ever you call 'em) are made off.
My 1st attempt:

Made her cry aswel, though it suited her =P - looking at it, it look like she's got two personalitys (left evil (just look at the eye) and right is the sad innocent girl))
Base image used to create the glass effect (As Supersize requested =P)
This image was made just by setting the foreground colour to back and apply the could filter, than I've played around with the liquify tool.
This is the base image used in the render.

Long time no see Toxic, how've you been? Ye I'm back and some major things going on which drained a lot of time (Next year going uni so 110% focus on this last year of college -.-" I'm like an empty vessel atm. ^^) Basicly the shine/glint effect is made using a cloud layer.

100% sure, we only got Photoshop in college and I saw him doing it but just couldn't follow it becuase I was doing some work so I was just looking at it from time to time while he was creating the sphere. Only wish I kept my eyes on his screen now =P

Doing good, yes I do, once Toxic enters the system it never leave =P

And once you get the static shock it distorts the Toxic from your system
