If you're using that as a signature maybe tone it down. Try using 2-3px border as I think it looks a 'tad messy. Maybe using some different effects instead of cloud or just use some more renders. Just my CC
Hey all!
I have been working on a few graphics for the forum these past few days and I am pleased to announce that I have finished making a forum signature. It isn't the most sophisticated of signatures, but it is still W.I.P. and I would like your opinions and suggestions on it. Think of it as a draft!
Please can you not go on this thread to needlessly slate me, constructive and honest criticism only, please! I will update this thread as I improve the signature, but here is the draft signature:
Draft
This was a quick one; I only took about 5 minutes on this - what I meant by 'the past few days' was that I was learning tips and tricks about Photoshop.
Feedback please.

Cheers mate for being honest. When you say 'tone it down', you mean change the size right (because I was going to do that anyway)? And yeah, I was going to change the cloud effect a bit more so it's more original (add a different coloured cloud, etc.). What is a CC, by the way?
Tone it down by size, yes. CC means Constructive Criticism

Looks good. Get rid of the copyright notice in the bottom, and make the white border less thick and it would be perfect!
It's your choice if you want to keep the copywrite notice on it, but people could just steal it anyway. They can still take the idea, and no one else does that. Example: The solider was probiblary copyrighted and you still took it, so if people want something like your they will just save it and change the text a bit. You would never be able to prove they didn't make it.
To be honest, I like it that way - and it's only partly due to stopping other people stealing it. I'm not too bothered if someone partially copies this, and will definitely not go to court about it.
And to be fair, the soldier was a render with no copyright notice on it, so it's much easier to steal. But it's not like I'm going to sell it or anything, so copyrighting doesn't matter (it's really just there so I can claim it as my work). Thanks for your feedback/opinion, though.
Okay, you're new to this, I can see.
Many many errors in this piece of graphics, I'll run you through a few of them.
- Take more than 5 minutes on a piece, 5 minutes on a pile of shit is time wasted, 25 minutes on a good piece is time used.
- Text is far too predominant in the picture, blend it in a little bit, lose the huge stroke.
- Make the render larger, fill the space more, and make sure your background fits with the style of the piece.
- Remove that ridiculous copyright shit.
- Stick to a colour scheme and style, pointless doing a blue background with a red piece and green text, play with shades rather than blocks. My signature is a prime example of this.
I don't mean to sound harsh, but that's the stone cold truth of it.
Keep trying though, I want to see more from you.
