Thread: Graphics Section Rules

Note: These rules will come into action 24 hours from this thread being posted, so you have time to farmiliarise yourself, and sort out anything which may infringe them at the time of implementation. I will also probably be adding or taking bits away within the next few weeks, so please keep checking back as I may change these without notification. Also remember normal BuyPoe rules still apply within.

THE OFFICIAL GRAPHICS SECTION RULES

I've ordered these according to section. Rules don't have specific infraction points for breaking them, I will usually give a warning and I'll be a little leanient within the first few weeks so people can get used to them. After that, though. I won't be taking any shit. Be warned.
By using the graphics section I assume you have read and agreed not to break these rules, so please read them carefully.

Artwork ripping will result in an instant ban from my section, and will earn you a temporary BuyPoe ban at least.



Graphics Chat

• This section is not for showcasing your art, or opening a graphics shop.
• This is a section where you can ask questions on graphics, or just generally have a chat.
• It is a very general section, so please feel free to post anything graphics related here.
• You may also post any graphic-related resources here, such as stock images or brushes etc.

Graphics Showcase

• This section is only for showcasing your own graphic art and/or photography.
• You may CnC (Constructively Criticise) any piece of work here, but your comments must be of decent length.
• You must not flame/hate on anyone's artwork, or post one word replies. (such as, "nice." etc.)
• You may not post multiple threads for single pieces*
• You may only bump threads in this section once every 3 days. (72 hours)

Graphics Services

• This section is only for posting your own graphics service thread, or to request graphic services.
• You must not post your graphics showcase in a service thread; you may link to a thread in the showcase section.
• You must be specific in what you require should you ask for work done, and agree on pricing before it's done.
• You may post threads asking for quotations on certain work, as long as it is well written.

Callout Section

• Quite simply a battle arena for the graphically talented. Nothing else should be posted here.
• You may call anyone out to a battle of graphic ability in this section, to see who is the best.
• You must be specific to what your terms are in the competition, it may be community judged, or by a third party.
• Tournaments may also be posted here, prizes are also allowed should you host a competition, but wagering is not.

*(for example if you have four pieces, you may not post four threads consecutively, you must post them all on one thread, unless there is a considerable time gap between creating them.)
