    Login Form

    well i have a login form Made in VB 2008 i have SQL Server ready Locally (LOCALHOST SERVER) il add a example.

    ///////////////
    MY FORM


    User: [a textbox : called label1]
    Password: [a textbox: Label2]

    [LOGIN BUTTON]
    ////////////////

    LOL thats the best way to show this.


    i want The Login form to send Label1 and Label2 to a Sqldatabase and if it has it log the user in e.g goto Main.form
    if not Perform an Exit of the application.

    WHY have i posted this here? Havent Found a good tut atm on how to do this locally with a login form and Sql

    So you need help with everything, lol. I might have a login script somewhere, but it wouldn't be connected to SQL so that's something you'd need to fix.

    I have no idea at all to be honest, the furthest I have ever gone with a login form is to protect my private files. Sorry I can't help you, but there are plenty of us here that can, I'm sure of it.

    I can produce something to do this in Javascript, but you would need to create a page in ASP and then have the form take the result there. Vb is not very good for form handeling while ASP is specially designed for it.

    I would recommend going to another forum for this. Buypoe is good for gaming and stuff, but not for programming. Try a PHP/SQL forum
