  • Craft of Duty?

As I'm pretty sure most of you users on this website have more than likely played either Minecraft or Call of Duty, or both of them. They are both individually pretty popular games. The news going around is that there is a new game being developed based on our two favorite video games. Call of Duty has been in our hearts forever with the killing, the trick-shooting and the 2 hour lines at the pre-releases. Minecraft, a slightly newer game than Call of Duty, quickly entered our hearts with it's ability to build, destroy and grief. Now to the point, we love both of these games but what happens when we want to play both but can't decide? Finally, there will be a solution to all of your questions. Call of Duty and Minecraft have become one in this new FPS block building game to be called Brick-Force. With this game comes all the action and shooting of a Call of Duty game and all the creativeness and serenity of Minecraft. Seems like an awkward hybrid to me. There has been a closed beta for the game which ends on Februrary 28th for people who have signed up beforehand, no idea how they'd heard of the game. Once the closed beta ends, they will open, if you will, the beta. Although this game sounds like another cheap Minecraft ripoff, it may not be. The game may actually be fun, being able to build bases/forts and being able to defend/attack forts or bases, an idea that Mojang thought that Minecraft shouldn't include. Now that Mojang didn't take advantage of that oppurtunity, some developers joined to make this idea possible to us Minecraft/Call of Duty fans.

In this game you will be able to do many things. Build maps, share maps, play maps with friends, play maps alone and well, you get the idea. The player will be able to join games with other players and fight them for their territory in a fort vs. fort war. In the beginning, you devote most of your time to the building of your own realm. Once you begin to play online, be prepared to work as a team to build bases with your teams on a different map, just make sure you finish building before the fight begins! If you are a part of a clan, things will probably be a lot more organized as you may use the same strategy every time you build. Now for the fighting part. The player may fight hand to hand, although they may not want to for the reason that the enemy may have a turret gunner posted just waiting for you to come near their base. Although, just because they have a turret, that doesn't mean you can't get by, maybe you'd like to use grenades. Whatever it takes, just make sure that their base will be yours.
