Dave has spent a grand total of $700($500 for the web client $200 for the desktop) on this chat system all in all. Don't get me wrong, its a nice chat system and all, but its pointless for him to have spent that much money getting the best available option when none of those additional features are used.

Can't this be easily made? Although this is indeed a very nice chat system.

    Thanks Dave.

Not really, it has to refer to the buypoe (vbulletin) user and password database which are both hashed -_-

All that through an external app too. :/

    I Love Dave.

The chat is quite nice, although I'm not sure it was a worthwhile investment. $700 for something which most members will probably not use is a bit steep, and we already have the BuyPoe Chat on the website! Skype and MSN can do the same job, although they aren't BuyPoe's. Thanks for it, though, I will definitely be using it!

Also if you do the math 1/40 = .025 = 1/4 of 1% chance it has a virus.

    Enjoy!
Its called a false positive. Programs don't have a "chance to have a virus", and if it did, it certainly wouldn't be determined by how many shitty AVs pick it up for a false positive. Either it has a virus or doesn't. If you're going to answer someones question, answer it right.

Oh, and this was $200. $199, to be exact.

Lol, dave, you should have had a custom one made. I'm sure notion would have helped

I'd say custom made is the best. Sure it takes sometime but better than paying 700$.

At the same time, you could be making a bot and selling the rights for $800-1000.

There's an argument on both sides really.

    lol "Grand Total"

A grand total would be over equal to or over $1000.
I spent $700 and we've been using bp chat for over a year now.

A custom solution would've costed more, have you ever freelanced?

Grand total means specifically: The final amount after everything is added up; the sum of other totals. L2Dictionary

Still a lot of money for something you could of got a lot cheaper.

Finally, no people like me so I don't have to freelance.
