Thread: Guide to Sticks and Stones wager match ( I didnt even read yours wastedbro)

This is my 2nd favorite wager match. I play it whenever i need COD points or I'm just bored. I've won about 86,000 points from wager matches and I'm only level 40. So I play wager matches often. Stick and Stones pretty much the only game i will wager 10000 on.

Before You Start Gambling
Sticks and stones is a very hard game to get use to. It's not something you will read about and then be awesome at it. You have to practice. You need to remember that knifes and bolts are affected by gravity so in most cases, you will need to put a lead on your opponent.

Combat Training.
Use this to get use to the weapons. Go into like a 1v5-9 and get leveled up to 15. Once your level 15, buy and equip the tomahawk and ballistic knife. Now, go into a 1v1 on recruit. Kill the bot using tomahawks and knife SHOOTING. Don;t just knife them. Because that just wastes your time (unless you really suck at knifing). Get use to the gravity and accuracy of the weapons.

After you get somewhat use to them, try making it game like. As in start trying to kill the bot as fast as possible. So that means stop standing there and align the crosshair to the enemy. Instead, run around the map and try to kill him fast by using sway techniques and try to aim very fast and effectively.

Once you feel you can handle the ballistic knife and the tomahawk well, just level up in CT. Once you get to level 33, buy and equip the crossbow. This weapon is more accurate than the ballistic knife. It can zoom and the bolts explode. So this means you don' have to hit the opponent to kill them. But it has a longer reload time. All i can say is get use to this weapon while occasionally using your tomahawk. After that you should be fine to play real games, and win them.

Private Matches.
These do not only help you train but are pretty fun. Invite a friend or a few of them and have a ballistic knife/ crossbow and tomahawk war. This helps you learn to play against humans. This is a fun way to prepare.

Low Wager Matches.
This is the best training method AFTER you have done some CT. Because it allows you to get the feel of the game, while risking close to nothing. And if you have done what i told you with CT, i guarantee you will win a couple of these matches no problem. Just keep doing this until you are always getting 1st 2nd or 3rd place.

In-Game Strategies.
Well now your in a game you really want to win because you have 1000-20000 COD points on the line. Now don;t get really nervous or you will miss shots and get angry.

Try starting off running straight into battle. You have no points so there's nothing to lose. What you want to do is just try to kill like you have been doing in training. Once you get 100-200 points start playing defensively and use the tomahawk when you get over 500. If your playing higher wager matches, people will know how to tomahawk you. So always be moving, but stay away from the middle of the battlefield.

I like to start with my crossbow. So shoot that. If you miss, quickly switch to your ballistic knife and shoot. If you miss then don't reload. Just go at them or use the tomahawk. Reloading is dangerous when fighting as when you reload, you can get tomahawked easy. And the best way to win is not get tomahawked.

So that was one strategy to kill someone. Another would be to start with the ballistic knife. If you miss, start running away while switching to the crossbow, if the enemy follows, round a corner and shoot your side of the corner. If you timed it right, the enemy should round the corner when the bolt explodes, thus, killing him. There are many ways to trap people with the crossbow. Just experiment and find your best way.

Z0mG!!! Your surrounded by 3 people! Switch to your ballistic knife and start regularly knifing them! No, it doesn't give you many points, but it keeps you from dying, them getting points, and you getting bankrupt. So if your in a multi-way firefight, your best chance is to knife. Keeping everyone separated keeps people from getting too many points at once. So thats a good idea if your not the best player in the game, and you still want to win.
